I don't think so. You have to beat the final boss to get the achievement.

thedivinemonkey Thanks for your consideration, but this save is fine because i want to to beat the hardcore by myself only want the hand canon in case of a complicated situation when a run out of ammo.

Since in my first run trought the zealot difficult a run out of ammo, credits and helth, it was a complicated situation and i had to start from the lbeginning, the hand canon it´s only a beck up plan if anyting like that hapens.

Works great! I beat the game legit first before I used it. The Handcannon is great fun! Also some of the achievements I didn't have I got with the 2nd save. I basically just had to do 1 more of whatever was required, like get so many kills and whatnot, and they unlocked. :) ThanX Again!
