Samurai Shodown IV rated for Virtual Console

The Australian classifications board has rated Neo Geo scrapper Samurai Shodown IV: Amakusa's Revenge for Wii's Virtual Console service.

Amakusa's Revenge introduced brothers Sogetsu and Kazuki Kazama, an "honorable death" move and even featured fatalities under certain conditions.


We've already got Samurai Shodown, Samurai Shodown II and Samurai Shodown III on Virtual Console, but considering there have been no new Neo Game games added for over a year we're not holding our breath.

They were quite good back in the day, think I've got most of them on roms on my PC. Avoid Samurai Shodown Sen on the 360 though, its complete and utter guff.
