Assassin's Creed 4 modding

Has anyone looked at this one yet? I'm curious if it is the same way as the other previous AC games... no protection and just reversing the hex values (for the money).


EDIT:
Well I just tried hex editing my save, and the game would load. It actually froze the console, forcing me to hard reset. I'm going to get more money and then try modding it again, in the meantime, here is my save with 541 money.
