Dungeon Defenders items not showing up

I was able to mod a weapon only once successfully but now I do not know why I cannot get it right.

I do the usual decompress, blah blah blah.
I use Horizon.

But when I get into my save.decompress in HexWorkshop, I go to find my weapon, and nothing shows up.
I've edited the weapons shown and they usually edit the weapons in the shop, then I just buy them for 15M but I must be doing something wrong
to not see my weapons on that character.

My weapons are upgraded and renamed, but I still cannot find it.


Anyone know what my problem is? Sorry for being for vague as I am new to this. Shoot me questions on what info you need from me :)

Make sure you are editing the hex string (weapon) above the name of your weapon. thats about all i could say becasue you are so vague on your problem... Sorry.

Yeah dude. Thanks for that info. I believe I was doing that right. Could the file not work because I was decompressing the file as save.decompress and not save.decompressed?
I have been playing Catherine all day and raging at the same time, haha! Haven't tried to see if this was my problem. Thanks so far though. :)

^^Raging @ Catherine. I am playing Easy difficulty and that game is like playing "hard". Meh...

Hey dude. That was my problem. Ha ha! The other reason was that I was saving the file as decompress and not decompressed.
