Dead Rising 2 corrupted file question

I just tried to hex edit my ammo on my save and I tried loading it and the save was corrupted. Is there a checksum on the save?

The save is protected via a custom checksum.

You can use HXD to calculate the checksum using the settings show in the picture
The checksum is writen twice, Once at the begining and once at the end of the file

I don't see why not. I just do it manually with Hxd.

You select set range:0x4 to0x49F9F use the custom crc settings in the picture, Then write it at 0x0 and 0x49FA0
