[TUTORIAL] Dungeon Defenders - Adding Special Symbols to your Name

To use just open your decompressed save into Hex Workshop and change the Hex value of a Character's name or a weapon's name to the Hex value of the desired symbol you want (There are already TONS of tutorials on how to decompress your save, so I won't bother going through those steps).

NOTE: Some symbols don't work and will not show up in-game.

Stop trying to keep the games privately modded ytv, we are part of a community, if you don't like people helping then why are you here...?

Lol stoner you are hilarious u have only been here 3 months and u think u are the top guy. Also (helping) part of this is thanking someone for their info u have 0 Thanks meaning you have not thanked idlehands88 or Fairchild for their contribution and on top of that u used the resigner that Fairchild made (Thanks for that BTW Fairchild :) ) and made a easier one.

How easy to you need it to be. Also without idlehands88 you would not even know how to mod this game. Plus you even ask for help from exiled. Which btw he said in big letter's here i will rephrase it for you " I WILL NOT MOD OR SHOW YOU HOW TO MOD DUNGEON DEFENDERS" yet u insisted to ask also you said this "If you cant mod the game yourself then you should not be modding

To use these, just write out on a piece of paper the symbols you want to use and find out the length needed. Then rename your character/item to something that has the same number of letters. Open your save in Hex Workshop and and replace the HEX number with the symbols HEX number to get you name.

I've defenetly never said I was top guy, or refer to myself in that way. I'll admit I'm on the bottom of the "Food-chain" but the fact that you jump to the conclusion that I act that way either offends you or is threatening to you... Regardless I'm sorry that I've offended you in any way.

If I were such a leacher I wouldn't have even asked for permission the post the Tutorial/Resource (how ever you'd like to look at it) little lone ask Idlehands88 if there was anything he would like me refrain from saying/releasing.
As for fairchild's dd.exe I asked if I could embed it into my executable CMD program. and he said I could, if I gave proper credit, and i believe I did (in the parameters of a converted .bat, as well as in the Read Me.txt that you haven't even seen), I'm not stepping on anybodys 'toes'

As for my quote on modding, yes I removed it because I was messing around with my signature and adding more pictures...Still quoting it incorrectly is throwing it out of context... I said "If you need a VIDEO tutorial that you shouldn't be modding a GAME SAVE"

Yes, I have have that on my Bio, yet I do not take any credit in making the tutorial, or Compression toolkit in which make it possible, but all of my saves are done by me.

Furthermore id prefer to continue this conversation in a "Private Message" conversation, so we don't take this thread in the wrong direction.
