So I was wondering. Do you think it's possible to hex edit the amount of these currently possessed?
Example: Current max. is 3 for Smoke Bombs, but would you be able to somehow hex edit this value to make the game think you have, let's say, 9 (in case you can't add any extra bytes), or 99 (63[H]), or even 255 (FF[H])?
Or are these things hardcoded into the game? Has anyone ever tried?

yes you can. This is an example of the medical pouch. The 03 is for the large pouch and the 05 is the amount of medicine I have I can change it. Don't worry about the other bookmarks its hard to explain what there for. I am/was going to make a trainer for this one as well but hacking and gaming time is next to none these days.
