When I try to edit my savegames I get "Invalid STFS file" error. Is there a way to solve this?

I have been trying to edit my ability and skill points for a while now on my Xbox, but whenever I am finished maxing everything on my character out, it takes me to a load screen and then pretty much just stops the game. I did everything as provided, and used the same values you gave. It is not the value that is the problem, it is what happens after I am finished leveling up is the problem, which is the game not loading at all. Otherwise, it's working great. I would appreciate any help you can offer Cybersam.

*Edit- The problem only seems to arise with my ability points. if I go past 123, the game makes a wierd sound and after Im done leveling up, it will not load. I can max out my skill points fine, but the game seems to prevent it from happening to ability points.

you are trying to open the wrong file...
you need to get the save from your xbox and open that file without extracting content from the CON file...

not quite sure why you're getting this problem...
did you try this with a new save game ?!... (i mean started a new game and tried it on that)

I"m not really sure what happened the editor was working great then today i tried to use it and when i reload the game it freezes before it can load i'm not doing anything different so it should still be working but its not, its very frustrating any advice on how to get it working again cybersam

well...i hope you made a backup ^_^
you could try to level up to max level first... by changing your exp...
for this you need to load your save after you edit your exp and kill some monsters each kill should give you one 1 level...
when you hit max level save and edit your skill/ability points don't go over the max points...
save and load it again...
unequip any item you have (at least those that have stat changing bonuses) and click on the level up button in the menu
once done... re-equip your items and save the game again (in a new slot)
exist your menu and play a bit further
save in jet another new slot... exit the game and start it again...
first load the sae game after you leveled up... to see if it still works... if it does then you are good to go... if not... try the other one...

Thanks for the advice Cybersam it helped and i did have a backup and its working great right now i was wondering if there was a chance of any future updates for this although its amazingly helpful as it stands i was playing through teeth of naros dlc and was wondering if there was gonna be anymore updates for it and it so would you be able to add Primal Damage to the item editor.
