Official release of the iXtreme LT+ v2.0 (BenQ and Lite-On)

- Support for XGD3 ixtreme backups using LT-MAX for maximum capacity on standard DVD+R DL discs. Passes all security checks for XGD3 including correct capacity.

- Support for large capacity DVD+R DL media (no errors when burning)

I would like to dedicate this fw to the Xbox Live Enforcement Team and the recent false (AP25) bans and subsequent reversal. Keep up the good work guys.

When yo say "Does not need your DVD key" sorry to sound stupid, but does this mean if you have a drive that has a lost dvd key you can flash it with this firmware, and it be able to play games?

Sounds a bit to good to be true.

I've never flashed one to be honest so have no idea. I just grabbed the firmware from a torrent site and then chucked it on here. It is to my understanding though that without the dvd key the drive wouldn't be able to play games but don't quote me on that.

No your right, with out that key the drive becomes nothing more but a nice dvd player. I know this from experience. When I read that I just was like wow. I put the 2.0 firmware onto jungleflasher and it still has dvd key area. So I guess still needs it. Hell, just for the giggles i'll try and flash my benq with it, and see if it works or not. I hope this also fixes the problem I seem to have with my samsung drive, and AP2.5 games. Wasn't able to play retail ACB, so I bought it as a GOD, worked than. funny xbox,

its for 0800v3 ripping games not for playing games. you could use an old xbox dvd drive as a game ripping drive with xbc you flash the drives firmware with the correct 0800v3 bin file. the 0800 cant be used in an xbox to play games

So in other words my xbox 360 with lost dvd key, can be used to rip my retail games? to burn em to backup disks? If so this saves me the trouble of downloading them.

yes that is correct just flash the drive with the corect 0800v3 bin file the drive then can only be used as a ripping drive. use xbox backup creator (xbc) to rip the games
