FFXIII series has been good and bad IMO, FFXIII(first game in the series) i actually liked the story but i didn't like the battle system and the fact there was not much exploring or side quests(there are more things i didn't like but i wont list them all lol), i would say overall it was a good game but could have been better, FFXIII-2(second game in the series) i didn't like at all frankly, the battle system still sucked, and even though you could explore more, i just thought it was done kinda pathetic, i felt it was rushed, and the story was just horrible, it didn't make any sense at all to me, i was really disappointed, i thought they would have made it better then the first game but IMO it wasn't, but i will say that the third game Final Fantasy XIII: Lightning Returns looks like it is going to be a lot better then the first two games, at least from what i have seen/read, so i am looking forward to this game, even though the FFXIII series has not lived up to the Final Fantasy name IMO
