yesterday i try to use save editor for Dark Souls on PC now when i try to load he says "cant load SAVE DATA corrupted" or something like this,so what can i do i was lvl 110 NG++ and i dont want to do all again(im sick) there is someone can give me a SAVE?or someone can FIX mine? pls let me know i really need it.

I had to use a different re-hash/re-signer last time I encountered this problem. That might bring your files back, if that fails you might try and extract the contents of the corrupted file and inject them in a new save you create to see if it is the container and not the contents.

Im afraid that ur savegame is gone :/ if u did not backup ur save then ur pretty much screwed.

The current version of dark souls does not support pc steam version....it will corrupt.

Ur only hope is to try to revert the changes u made using the tool...if u did not do alot of changes then might have a lil hope...

Good luck ! Hope that this will be a lesson to alwas make a manual backup.

...Is it only the steam version and not the pure games for windows live version that gets corrupted? I'd love to hear your current understanding of the problem before getting bored and poking at it myself. Now if this is a problem with just the stream version, that makes the debugging potentially easier. Ex: compare save games and see if steam is doing something funky like adding another checksum/signature to the file so it's specific not just to the windows live account, but the steam account. Just guessing wildly here.
