is a version of the Xbox 360 DVD format, implemented to avoid and combat copyright infringement. It holds an additional 1 gigabyte of security data used in disc checks to detect copied game discs.
for Checking your XGD3 Burn
according to the spec (ECMA-364)
PI Max should not be higher than 100 and PIF Max should not be higher than 4.
Ideally averages for PI should be 5 or less and PIF averages should be 0.20 or less.
PI errors can be as high as 200, and still have a readable disc, but to achieve a good XGD3 burn you need to be around 100
and even though you're looking at the averages, you don't want any large spikes in PI and you don't want PIF going over 8 or 9.
