Nintendo Takes Big Games To The Big Apple At New York Comic Con

Nintendo is bringing a wide variety of activities and games to this year’s New York Comic Con event. In addition to having a booth with playable versions of many unreleased Wii U and Nintendo 3DS games, as well as the new Nintendo 2DS system, Nintendo is hosting a must-see speaking session with Eiji Aonuma, the producer of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds for Nintendo 3DS and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD for Wii U. Other unique events include special activities during Kid’s Day on Oct. 13, competitive video game tournaments, artist demonstrations and giveaways (while supplies last).

“Our games really show off the capabilities of Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, and consumers love hands-on opportunities,” said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “We have a commitment to offer fans both value and variety going into this holiday season, and with our activities at New York Comic Con, we are out to show why Nintendo offers the most fun experiences available.”

On Friday, Oct. 11, Mr. Aonuma will host a special speaking session focusing on the just-released The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD game for Wii U and the upcomingThe Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds game for Nintendo 3DS. The event will take place in room 1A06 at 2:45 p.m. ET and is open to all New York Comic Con attendees on a first-come, first-served basis.

As if missing Evangelion 3.33 wasn't bad enough.
Got completely screwed out of NYCC this year, all because I was trying to be nice; stupid work.
