Also tweaks the "Gooser" challenge
Respawn will roll out another update for Titanfall on Xbox One later today, the developer has announced via Twitter. Among other things, it'll tweak the game's Gooser Challenge, which originally required players to kill 50 ejecting pilots - post-update, you'll only need to slay five.
"We went a bit too far with this challenge, especially considering the unique conditions that have to be met in order to have the opportunity to get a kill on an ejecting Pilot," concedes a blog post from late last month. "We are aware that some players have already completed the challenge or earned more than the new requirement."
The update will also introduce private match types, as promised prior to the game's launch. We'll update this piece with more details as they arrive. It's not clear whether the update will be live for all versions of the game at once - the Xbox 360 version isn't officially available yet outside the US.
Titanfall is to receive at least three DLC packs, all included with the purchase of the Season Pass. Players can also expect free DLC modes, which is nice.
Respawn's Abbie Heppe spoke briefly about possibilities for DLC in an interview with OXM, shortly before the game's review embargo. You may wish to revisit it.
