AWESOME: June's Games with Gold lineup promises to be the best in Xbox history

It's not unusual for the Xbox Games with Gold lineup to leak ahead of Microsoft's official reveal, but if the latest leak turns out to be real, it promises to be the best lineup ever in Xbox history.

And when you consider how amazing April's lineup turned out to be - with Dead Space, Sunset Overdrive, Saints Row IV and The Wolf Among Us - it certainly says something.

Take a look at the leaked screenshot below.

LEAKED: June's Games with Gold lineup has been revealed online

As the above image suggested, the games that are rumoured for Junes Games with Gold offers include Red Dead Redemption and Bioshock Infinite for the Xbox 360, Ryse: Son of Rome and Lichdom: Battlemage for the Xbox One.

And as Xbox One is now backwards compatible, that would make four remarkable games for Xbox One owners to get stuck into.

Microsoft will likely announce their Games with Gold releases next week, so we'll all have to keep our fingers and toes crossed in the meantime that this unbelievable lineup turns out to be true.

As many might recall, Red Dead Redemption was was accidentally made available on the Xbox Store earlier this year before it was inexplicably pulled by the Microsoft team.

Following that little mistake Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb, the Xbox Director of Programming took to Reddit in order to apologise for the confusion and the mishap.

"Microsoft tests all Xbox 360 games with our emulator to ensure a quality experience across a breadth of titles," he explained. "Due to an error some of the games currently in test were accidentally made available."
