Way back in 2008, Ubisoft announced a game called I Am Alive. After making a brief splash in the mass gamer consciousness, the game quickly slipped under the radar. Ubisoft's reluctance to show off even part of the game at gaming events and conventions didn't help at all.
Still, Ubisoft has been pretty adamant that the game is still in development. While we have no idea what it looks like now, a video dredged up by the folks over at NeoGAF gives us a little insight into what it used to be. The video is reportedly a trailer made using an older build of I Am Alive. Along with the trailer is another video made of in-game screenshots showing some of the menus and the environement. Check them both out below.
I Am Alive was originally announced to be set in a post-apocalyptic Chicage where everyday survival is a constant challenge. Last year, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot announced that the game was being completely re-engineered and would be coming out this year.
