If you're played out on watching the Blue Man Group's antics on your 3DS, worry not - new options are on the way. Today Nintendo announced their partnership with DreamWorks Animation and 3net, which will yield a fresh batch of 3D content via the 3DS system's Nintendo Video application.
The first, arriving today, is a new Halloween-themed animated short care of Dreamworks, to be followed by another one later this month. The videos will, for the time being, be available only on the 3DS. The one available today features character's from the 2009 theatrical release Monsters vs. Aliens. The second will star the three little pigs from Shrek.
"Nintendo 3DS is a powerful platform that allows content creators to reach users on-the-go, and we are thrilled to be working with Nintendo to make some of our DreamWorks Animation 3D content available this Halloween season," said Jim Mainard, Head of Production Development for DreamWorks Animation.
Nintendo Video will also be providing content from the 3net network's original series, including Bullproof (the story of four bull riders), Feeding Time (an up-close look at cuddly animals such as pandas, penguins, lemurs and otters) and Building the Brand (a series that explores the creation of some of the world's most iconic products).
Nintendo Video is updated on a weekly basis via the system's SpotPass function.
