Californian developer WayForward, the development studio behind A Boy and His Blob and Contra 4 has revealed that itís continuously receiving requests from fans to develop the next Mega Man game. Sadly Christian Svensson, Capcomís VP of Strategic Planning & Business Development has stated that itís highly unlikely that WayForward would get the chance to create the next Mega Man game.

Iím also a WF fan and Iím familiar with their work. Iíll never say never but thereíd be a million approvals before a MM title could ever be produced in the West.

Yeah, I definitely want a new MM game. Nor more 8bit MM though, please; the nostalgia trip got old fast. I want more MMX please! And the 2D ones, not the crappy 3D ones. Leave 3D to Legends, it does it better. Speaking of, why did Capcom cancel Legends? I mean, I know the reason they're giving, but what went through their collective heads?
