Disregard the previous message. Here's your save, 1,000,000,000 gold and 1,000,000,000 inventory limit. It worked for me, let me know if it does for you as well.

My findings about abilities. If you go back let say 200 bytes from your character name and look for hex 00 F6 00 61 00 00 00, you will find some with values before and after that hex. Some other may have 00 before and after, those are probably empty not activated yet abilities. But those with numbers are your activated skill and hex before is code for skill (skill code) , hex after is number of point invested in that skill (skill lvl). There are some values before skill code but I can't find what they are for.

B4 00 F6 00 61 00 00 00 05 - Longsword Mastery
07 00 F6 00 61 00 00 00 02 - Greatsword Mastery (max6)
5A 00 F6 00 61 00 00 00 02 - Brutal Weaponry (max3)
5B 00 F6 00 61 00 00 00 03 - Brutal Weaponry II (max3)
07 00 F6 00 61 00 00 00 03 - Greatsword Mastery (max6)
A6 00 F6 00 61 00 00 00 03 - Skillful Defense (max5)
A5 00 F6 00 61 00 00 00 01 - Hardy Constitution
B7 00 F6 00 61 00 00 00 01 - Quake (max5)
6E 00 F6 00 61 00 00 00 04 - Conservative Casting (max5)
B6 00 F6 00 61 00 00 00 06 - Storm Bolt
E1 00 F6 00 61 00 00 00 04 - Mark of flame (max5)
95 00 F6 00 61 00 00 00 02 - Envenomed Edge (max6)
76 00 F6 00 61 00 00 00 06 - Assassins Art

Above are my findings, so you can try change them in your save. However adding point to your abilities doesn't change total points in tree (item requirements). So let say I've add one point to Storm Bolt and it says Sorcery(1). After adding 3 more points by hex editing save its sill says Sorcery(1) but Sort Bolt is lvl4. If I add one point after hex editing Storm Bolt will be lvl5 but Sorcery(2).
Unfortunately you can't max all skills by hex editing then go and reset your abilities to get all point (those spend in game and those add by hex editing), game will always give you abilities point using [formula level_before_reset x 3].

All you can is and some point to unlock higher tiers, Might is (2) but after adding 18 point by hex editing you can chose abilities with 20 point requirement.

Remember, those are only my finding and I'm noob in that field.

Do u guys thing it be easier to add skill points and abilities to a save that hasn't spent some for leveling up a level? For example changing the 1 skill and the 3 ability u have for leveling to next level? Instead of changing the the points directly in the tree?

I personally don't want to see the editor hurry up. The longer they have to work on it, the more they can put into it and the better it will be. Just saying.

Found where the spend ability point are stored. Write down values of your abilities tree (you start game with Might(1), Finesse(1), Sorcery(1)). You have to find 3 occurrence number 1. Those are stored in uint32 so look for 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 01 (big endian notation). You may find many such occurrence but there is at tip. Before correct offset there should be may FF FF FF FF values.
Its easier to find when you have actually spend some more point in your ability tree.

The best part is that after you level to lvl1 and put 3 ability points in, let say, Might (look for 00 00 00 04 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 01) you can hex edit your save and add 20 points in every skill, the go to fateweaver and reset your levels, bam, you have now 60 abilities points to spend :-).

I still didn't find where skills are stored, but skill can be maxed in game anyway, so its no big problem.

Unfortunately you can't max skills or abilities in the game :(.

BUT

There's an awesome tutorial on this in the tutorials section here, tried it myself and it works great, I recommend for a max character using the minor xp tutorial in the tutorials section again, then levelling up in game, then once at max see a fate weaver to reset and get all skills and ability points back.
The tutorial on skills and abilities let's you modify your returned skills and abilities so you have enough to allocate to everything on the board :) Doing this also unlocks new fates that boost your character even further lol. Become a BOSS lol

If your level 40 already it's easy to max ur skills if ur not it's a little harder but still do able, fateweave ur abilities and skills then save ur game look for the amount of skills and abilities you have in hex they should basically be on the same address there might be a lot of instances but it's not hard to find, after you find it it edit your skill and abilities to whatever you want it takes 90 skills to max out and a 369 to max out abilities but be careful if your not already level 40 idk if maxing everything out affects the game ie. next time you level up and they grant u a skill and 3 ability points and ur maxed out what will happen, so if I was you guys I'd subtract the amount of skill points (1 per level) and ability points (3 per level) that u have leeft for level 40, oh and in the skills u have to take in account not to go over 90 because it'll reset to whatever u had before u hex edited, and remember to take in account the permanent skill points if you used trainers, if you have any questions let me know :D

So say I have a level 20 character, I fateweave, I then subtract the number of points I have gotten for my level which would be skill points: 20 + any trainer points and ability points:60? But i must stay beneath 90 :mmz: I am lost..
On another side note (don't flame) but I think I read somewhere in this topic in which you can edit ability points. would it be possible if you edit those ability points and make your character completely max. Take for instance you having a lvl 20. can you edit the ability points to max out say your mage tree and use the rest of your points from leveling your other two trees???

I actually did this when I was a level 20 character too, there's a guide here on the forum that teaches you how to do it with a level 40 you might want to see that one for reference (I didn't see it before I posted since the sites been acting up), there's a total of 90 skill points in the skills tab to max out but u have to subtract ur race permanent skills (which i think is 3) and any skills u learned from a trainer, because if u give ur self 90 skills u can't confirm and continue to your abilities, and since your a level 20 you only get another 20 skill points which make just pure leveling 40 so u add the 40 and any skills learned from trainers and ur race and subtract 90 and that's what u should hex ur available points that way u can level fine because u still have 20 empty slots u can fill in the next 20 levels. And yeah ability too I had to find the addresses on my own but it's easier if ur level 40 which I'm not for ability it takes 123 to max out each tree so u multiple that by 3 and u have the 369 to completely max out but since ur level 20 ud subtract that by 60 because u can get 60 more points by leveling up normal so when you'd hex ur abilities youd subtract 60 from the 369 which is 309 and that's what you'd hex ur abilities as that way u can still get the last 60 the normal way and still have everything maxed out by the time u turn level 40

I'm sure they will when they have something worthy of reporting.

Hmm, does anyone know if I can mod my exp rate? I am level 30 at the moment and have completed the main story line so leveling is now a bit slower without the bosses and such. I don't want it to be super fast but just a little bit faster.

Thanks

Meh. Gave up waiting for an editor and I doubt one will be coming for this game if it hasn't been made yet. Seems the devs of the game made a save file that is too complicated for an editor.

Besides, there are tons of easy tutorials out there on how to mod XP, skill points, ability points, inventory limits, gold, and effects on weapons/armor.

I ended up just taking a save someone made with a modded dagger (Base 341 Physical damage + ice, fire, and lightning damage) and edited everything else myself. Played through game with that save at Level 40, all skills maxed, all abilities maxed, max inventory space and max gold.

I could buy everything in the game, took hardly no damage (Armor Rating >2,500), had tons of health (>9,000) that regenerated quickly, tons of mana (>1,400) that regenerated quickly, and could 1 or 2 hit kill almost every enemy in the game with either chaukrams, dagger, or an ability.

What else could you want?

I think it is funny.. How people say " If there is not one. There will never be one ! " Don't forget people. The people that make they editors do have lives. IF they do finish one. I am sure people will be jumping all over it and singing there praise. Just play and or use they other mods as people have suggested. Ok of my soap box. Thank you for taking the time to look into making an editor for this game !

Not sure. I thought they were too but I hadn't heard anything so I assumed it was on the back burner for now.

Oh well......with all the great tutorials out now for this game I can mod everything I need. If an editor eventually comes out I'll use that instead. Until then, happy hexing lol!

You cannot just assume that they having given up on the editor, there are alot of weird things with the saves that make it tricky. The more I look at the last several posts it reminds me how people kept wanting the Dark Souls Editor. Just hold on, if I remember correctly the same people that are trying to work on this editor are the same that did Dark Souls. Plus with all of the Hex editing Tuts flying around its not hard editing what you want (mostly). I mean they have a life as well we cant just say "Hey I want the editor now!!" People will then be pissed cuz there saves might get corrupt or w/e and that looks bad on the developer, when it really shouldn't. Just saying.

I know :) they can take all the time they need, I've already completed the game with almost all the Achievements. I just thought they might have posted a little update on how things were going or if they needed to take a break from it for a little while, instead of keeping us in suspense XD

Maybe so, I remember the same thing happened in Dark Souls, so who knows. I hope one does come, but I almost want it to have features that I cannot Hex edit personally. like having X amount of potions or something similar, stuff like that.

That would be nice :P I know CyberSam is good at the kind of stuff with regards to his Dragon Age editor which is epic, being able to mod your weapon speed was amazing!

Save Editor would be nice since I'm fairly new at Hex Editing But I would love to know if anyone knows how to do this!

I would love to have my character like this since I'm a little annoyed with the game right now due to the fact that it will not register that I did something for my original character on one of the main quests which was near the end of the game.
