A rescue deal that was put forward by private equity firm OpCapita appears to have been shunned by GAME, who are once again on the verge of collapsing.
It’s not entirely apparent why GAME declined the offer, which would have offered them a lifeline. There’s still a tiny bit of hope for the company as Walmart and GameStop have yet to put in an offer.

Think about it though lads (and lasses) if we lose the high street game shops then we will have to resort to online shopping, but if a game breaks or if you dont want it any more then there are few places you can take it, yes i know you have ebay and places like them but you are in competition with many other people to get your game sold which is a hassle (trust me i know thanks amped 3!) but with high street game shops you can get it appraised at many different shops for different prices and sell it at the one which sells the highest price but we lose that feature with the game shops, if we let online take over you will end up with a few shelveful of games that you dont want to play but cannot shift.
My point being: go to GAME/Gamestation and support them before we lose our freedom.

I'd be worried if I gave a damn but I don't. EB Games is a better game shop and I will always use them. They've never done me wrong the whole 5 plus years their store has been open in my town. GAME never seems to have what I need anyways. If they closed their store where I live, no-one would really notice lol!
