I have been downloading new episodes of true blood season 5 recently and I noticed that when I play the videos with windows media player, the screen flickers green. I think it because of the high definition. I wish the episodes came in DVD quality, but they don't. Is there any way around this?

VLC is good but to be honest I feel Media Player classic (http://mpc-hc.sourceforge.net/) is better (i've had a few issues in the past with vlc hence why I switched)
