it looks like some values are either above allowed maximum or the editor doesn't find the right values...
can you upload that save somewhere ?!

Here's 2 saves, they are both the same, but I made an extra one to be sure. (Its in the same place I just saved twice)
I really wanna use blood magic but I can't seem to survive the fights all the time lol using up my health as well would get annoying XD but apparently, despite my best efforts of trying to learn how to do this stuff, it seems to have gone over my head lol

when i find the time...
atm got a lot of other stuff (mostly rl stuff) going on... and i'm remaking my star ocean editor...
as for the problem... you could try playing further in to the game and try again...
else you could start again and use the editor on the new game...

Hey Sam I think the problem is if the other guy's pc/laptop is a vista it might be having problems reading the info in the savegame.das and savegame.das.x because its doing the same thing to me but when i delete the stuff from the file it loads the save game but none of the info... hope that helps ya fix this problem

ok guys as promised
here is the newest version of the editor
still doesn't look like much
but you can edit money and for your main characters the attributes
Strength, Dexterity, Magic, Cunning, Willpower and Constitution
please note i made a restriction so you can only have a max of 100
for each of those attributes as the game wont load your save
if you change the amount to something very high
i was able to set it to 110 but it never really showed up...
i found the values for the other characters but i still haven't found the pointer to them
that's why i haven't add them yet
but will do that as soon as i get them ^-^
one more note...
this editor is by no means finished
so please report bugs when you find them

(121 downloads for v1.2.5)
=====
Update
updated the editor to the newest version v1.3.1
its finally time... for you guys who waited for the DAO editor... now its possible to edit the main characters attributes and equipment
________________________
found a bug
this bugs is only in the DAO editor
till next update...
if you want to edit multiple savegames or a savegame multiple times always restart the editor in between or your savegames will be corrupted and you wont be able to fix them afterwards them

First off I want to say I like this program. But, I am having problems with First Blight.
I was playing DA2 on the 360, after the intro but before the Deep Roads, used FB and it worked awesome! All I wanted it for was to add some coin cause I was tired of having to run around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to buy the really cool stuff. Then I noticed I could mod the weapons I had and thought that would be cool just to see what it did. Again, it worked without a hitch. Anyway...
My problem is that after the Deep Roads expedition FB no longer wants to work.
How it was done:
USB into Xbox 360 – Copy latest save onto USB – USB into PC – Opened with Modio – Extracted the savegame.das to desktop – Turned off Firewall - Opened FB1.31 as admin – Told it to open the file - “This save file is neither Dragon Age: Origins/Awakening nor Dragon Age 2” - WTF!!!
(For the record, that is all I did the first time and it worked out.)
I even tried to load some of the saved files I have from my PC version of Origins and Awakening, it gave the same message.
Is there like a time limit or something? Must be used before Ostagar and Deep Roads? What if I find a really spiffy weapon later on and want to mod it then?
Am I alone in this or have others received it as well?

sorry but this editor is made only for the xbox version... and it won't work with the PC version...
Okay well just go the old fashioned way then!
For that error I posted when loading my 360 save, know what to do about that? I think it might be the gold but I tried finding it with a hex editor and a few hits came up. I tried changing them one by one but still gave me that error. :011:

Hey.
I love this editor, it's fantastic. However, like some other people here I have some issues with the editor after certain points in game. DA:O After the the joining and tower battle and DA 2 after the Deep Roads it just stops working. I am left unable to open any saves after those points regardless off how I mod my characters. Doesn't matter if I max out stats or if I only add 1 point. Does any one have a fix or work-around for this yet?
Much appreciated.
Robin
worked great...once i cant use it again

For dragon age 2, I am wondering, how do i work the item editor, and how do i edit my level. Also, on a side note, does the save allow me to edit my abilitys as in allowing me to for example if i was a mage max out elemental, primal, Spirit, Arcane, Entropy, and Creation, Blood magi, Ect.

As of the update earlier today, this save editor no longer works for DAO. Totally sadfaced when I tried editing the money on my save.

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

Edit #2: Meh. Started a separate save and it edited just fine. Guess after you get to a certain point in the game, you'll not be able to use FB 1.31

Since I lost my profile recently and can't seem to find a save set for this game I will be making one and thanks to Jappi and a tutorial here and there about adding items via hex I will probably make ultimate saves for all characters, these may be similar and perhaps even better then the saves already uploaded.
May take a week or so depending on life circumstances but I will try :)
ALSO Cyber I have said this countless times, I love you're editors, they legit kick soooooo much ass.

Cyber, I want to thank you for making this editor, but i do have a question that has been urking me, I try to mod my Dragon Age Origins character, and it works, it works perfectly fine with editing just my dex, str, ect, it works fine in fact i can mod it to 1000 and it still works, but when i edit my skill points, or my talent points, it either A: Doesn't save it. Or B: keeps corrupting it, any ideas on how I can fix it??

This has Admin rights, and UAC is at its lowest too. Also I say that when it saves the save it puts it back to the default size of 756kb; when normally after the 360 saves it is around 17mb.
That is the first major error that I had. Here is the second error.

how do I mod in blood dragon armor set and the starfang greatsword by using firstblight v1.3.1 save editor actually???
darkmikasonfire
03-27-2016, 08:55 AM
I don't think you can mod in the blood dragon armor, but it's a free download so why do you need to mod it in?
As for starfang, go to equipment and change what you currently have equiped to that sword. Personally it's my opinion that to mode weapons and armors into your save it's easier to use the gff4editor, make a save before you choose which sword to make, then make a save after you make the save, then open the pyff editor (included with the gff4editor) and simply go to the backpack and copy the weapon info and past it into the backapck of the other save. I have every weapon you can get in the game from every pathway, it took me over 200 hours to do it, but I wanted them all. my character carries around 1580s worth of stuff on them lol, almost all of it either gifts, weapons, or armors that are rare.
