What languages do you speak?

While the haven is an English-speaking website, we have members from around the globe. So I'm kinda curious what languages people around here can speak.

I live in the US, so English is my native tongue. I am also fluent in Spanish. I am semi-literate in many Latin-based languages (Italian, Portuguese, etc) but I don't understand Latin itself. I don't know any Germanic-based languages (other than English of course). I also don't know any Asian languages, though I did begin work on learning Arabic about a year ago (I'm still very ignorant in it however).

So what about you guys?

English is my native tongue also :), im okay in Spanish, i know a little Chinese and Japanese(by far not a lot though lol), i want to become fluent in Japanese and Chinese but will take awhile since im lazy lol

Native Italian speaker, but as any other nerd I had to learn some English to survive on the internet. Like many others I wish I knew Japanese, but like most of the "many others" of course I'm too lazy to even get started =p

I can also insult in Spanish and make culturally insensitive Italian gestures which seem to work fine when asking for the bathroom.
Canadian English is quite easy, just add an ey on the end ey?

Any language where the words have genders or mean over 9000 different things reliant on context or have 200 words for the same thing can stick to their respective pieces of rock, as far away from my ears as possible. :104:

I think it's pretty interesting finding out so many of our members speak other languages. It's easy to forget the English isn't the only language in the world when it's all you hear and speak. lol
