Lol way to much in my opinion you could buy a ultra PC that could do gaming and editing along with other things with ease for far less then that hope you enjoy it

the sony is the one i'm buying the toshiba I will rebuild and keep as a backup system sorta if not will give to my dad to have

man i would want a woppa of a i7 desktop gaming pc with all the fancies for that with a 670 nvidia g card and monitor... its very nice and not bad specs but you could get so much better in a pc

Apparently the i5 is better suited for gaming with some tweaks than the i7.
I'm quite out of touch with 'good shit' in terms of hardware but if you really want something built properly head to /v/ or /g/ and ask for recommendations, or just lurk.

I really can't talk about good tech, highest spec gear i've ever had is a dual core, ddr2 6gb business class desktop and unfortunately that thing doesn't take pcie. I work on some of the newer stuff all the time though, in the hands of idiots it performs just terrible.
Got the money but... i dunno, always holding out for better.
