Spongebob is Dead? Rumor?

Yesterday I heard that spongebob from the famous Nick show Songebob Squarepants died of old age at 80 years old, and also that the show will stop airing in 2016. Is there any truth to this rumor, because even though I'm old enough to drive I still like to watch this show.
