I try. I really do. I try hard to defend American views. How we're the most collectively obese nation on the planet; how our education system is behind just about every other first world country's; how we throw our military might at all our problems; how much our economy sucks right now; how we like our guns too much; how we don't like soccer enough. You know, things like that. I try hard to convince others (and sometimes even myself) that America is a great place to live, and that all of those viewpoints are just stereotypes and aren't really how it is here.
