uhm...
ok... here is a question...
why on earth do some of the devs add "[WPF]" to their release thread title ?!..
i really don't get it...
it doesn't make your editor more appealing or something... ^_^'''
i've seen a few of these release thread titles containing a "[WPF]" tag
and when i looked in to some of them to see the screenshots... i then think... wow... i don't even want to download it... -.-
even if its the only editor for the game in question...
then when i see another release thread with that tag i think... naa... don't even think of checking that thread out...
don't get me wrong...
but you're destroying the feel of the awesome stuff you can do with wpf...
(!!! WARNING !!! bragging a head)
the next version of my star ocean editor will get the design to a new level... i know bragging... but... i usually don't like to brag :006:
i encourage every dev to work with wpf... (.net devs anyway)
but if you aren't going for good customization... then don't do it at all...
you still have the ability to customize the default theme... without having to disable the default window functions
and please go only for custom controls if you can do them...
not just putting a background image and putting default design controls over them
that just doesn't look good... no matter how you loot at it...
having said that...
anyone interested in a custom dll with some specially designed controls ?!...
if enough people care i'll make one...though it will be one set for everyone to use...
as i can't do different design for everyone...
on a side note...
this is not directed on anyone... its just my opinion on this matter...
and if i offended someone... i'm sorry it wasn't intended
