Cant do a speed test cos currently at my dads house but I'm on 50mb Virgin Media, will be upgrading to 100mb as soon as it rolls out. Downloads at about 3.5mb p/s and uploads at 210kb p/s (crap I know). Typical that UK is the last to get the decent speeds though.

Wow.. You guys got nice speeds! Internet here in the Philippines is nowhere near those rates! In my area, the fastest you can go is 1.5Mbps!

I live so far out in BFE, that the only option I have is Satellite. Semi-fortunately, Virgin Mobile put out the mifi card, which uses 3G signal. I can play my xbox online with very little lag, although I'm stuck with a closed NAT; luckily my friends all have open NATs so we can play together. My torrent download speeds reach 40 kB/s (laughable, I know) and the uploads around 10kB/s, but from what I"ve read about satellite these speeds are better. It's only 40 a month with unlimited data transfer.

upload speed:0.52 kbps
download speed:1.96 kbps
It has the best results for my internet speed test and i check my speed here itself all time.............

hi I test the speed of my internet in many sites I got the best speed results from here scanmyspeed (http://www.scanmyspeed.com/)
my results are
download=1.09Mbps
upload=0.87Mbps
I dont know the reason why my speed seems to be slow many of them said that if Cable Internet services share bandwidth with satellite Internet access.
If there are many subscribers using that same bandwidth, it can slow down the connection.
kindly guide me how to solve this problem .
