I know a little about web dev but I can't seem to get into it. I do like the cloud development though but I just can't get into php...
I am currently learning jscript+html5 :( painful!

oh come on... you know the basic syntax already... (i mean the syntax that is true for a lot of high level programming languages)
so php and js are very easy to get in to.... ^_^
as for html... well that's a mark up language... and shouldn't be too hard to learn... ^_^
actually html is pretty easy to get in to ^_^

no in the U.S. you get an Associates degree then the Bachelor's degree, you get an Associates degree for usually completing 2 years of college

Nope. I got nothing in cpu tech. I got a bachelor in psychology. I currently work 2 jobs. One as a therapist and one as a psychologist. I know it does pertain to this topic but im bored and wanted to comment lol

That's more than I expected lol. I have officially studied nothing in software development. My background is Networking.
Software development is purely a hobbie for me, one that I am good at ;)

Im pretty sure its a hobbie for most people. I really hope no one went to school just to make tools, lol. With my degree i had a job in my field making 68,000 a year. Dont now cause of my back, but its still a hobbie i like doing.

A wish man once advice me to do something I love to do in my spare time. I love to program so I studied software engineering :). Why would you do something you don't enjoy and do for fun?

I agree. You should also use it as a career. Never hurts to make money off something u enjoy
