If you live in the UK, Renegade all the way. He's got a reputation for being legit, and his prices aren't bad. If you live in the US, kill_seth is a good choice, but I haven't seen him around lately. I know there are other trusted users that sell in the US, but I can't recall off the top of my head (I wanna say one of our moderators, but I can't remember).

We can't really say whether somebody outside of Haven is trustworthy or not; not because we want all the business ourselves, but because we just don't know. We know the people in Haven, and we can tell you who to go to here.

To be perfectly honest, even though I'm US, I'd -STILL- send my console to Ren if I were to go for a modded console. The shipping is expensive, but there's nobody I trust more from this site.

@Twist - The guy selling those consoles (Luke) from past experience with Supermodder. He's not a very reliable person. He may have a lot of vouches. I do not think he will take care of you though.

After looking at a few of their packages, I would not recommend buying a console from them. If you look at the pictures of the motherboards, they are not using the official coolrunner by team-xecuter. Instead they get the cheaper chips just to save a few extra bucks and most likely sell them the same prices as others do that use the coolrunner. I wasn't able to view any of the prices since all the ones I looked at said sold out.

How much money do you have to spend? I might be able to work out a deal with you since I can't seem to sell the last slim that I have.

Edit: I just looked at the halo 3 Zephyr and the price is $279.909 That is a total rip off. Even if you wanted a crappy Zephyer, you could get one for less then $200. Don't waste your money buying from that site, you'll get ripped off.

Both kill and ren is trustworthy and dependable, I also wanted to buy from them but US/UK to India shipping is an issue and things get lost across countries but you have an edge and many of Havens users have brought from Kill and Ren so if you are still confused go for them

As I said you before buy from someone whom you can trust and offcourse you can afterwards refer to if you have a problem or you need something...I don't think they will provide aftersells / tips even if they have dedicated forums..

It's your choice brother make the move ;p

I told the guy from http://xbox360xperts.com/dashboard/ that someone said b/c you were helping me looking at the pictures of the motherboards, you were not using the official coolrunner by team-xecuter. Instead they get the cheaper chips what are you running so what does this mean still waiting on comment

The chips they are using were manufactured after Team-Xecuter released their mod chip, and they are pretty much a cheap copy of the coolrunner. That just means they are trying to make you pay for more then it's actually worth. Like I said in my other post, you can get a Zephyr console for less then $200 and they are selling them for almost $300. I can sell you a Slim RGH for less then $300 and it will last way longer then a Zephyr and it has a Coolrunner and not some knock off.

But on that subject. TX are not the creator of the coolrunner. There were many glitch chips before TX Made theirs. One noted chip would be the C-MOD that used the Xilinx Coolrunner II chip (this is where TX got the idea of the Coolrunner) all they really did was made the chip 100x better. They added caps and jumpers, switches and everything we can think of to be as user friendly as possible. They may be slower at releasing chips than other people. But that's only because they go through dedicated testing and do not release until they personally have QA assured that the chip will work flawlessly.

@Twist - They are using the Matrix Glitcher..however it's nowhere near as good as the TX Coolrunner. Glitch times can be pretty bad. Sometimes not even booting at all. On top of that you get next to no support from Team Matrix. However if you had an issue with the CR. You'd be able to go to the TX forums and they would support you with their issue. As a known installer myself. Do yourself a favour and don't go for Luke. Instead go for Kill_Seth as he is a lot more reliable. Plus he's free to answer any questions or support you as I am too..
