I'm looking for a game w/ an epic story, good cut scenes, and very fun to play, any recommendations?(dosent need to be be all of these, but it at least needs to be fun :/
Preferably no shooters, but if its that good ill give it a try =)
The only single player games i remember playing and liking were
1.Red Dead Redemption
2.Bioshock Infinite
3.Spyro (Ripto's Rage and Year of the dragon)hmm its not really much of a story is it? lol just really fun i guess :p
I dont play many games other than multiplayer purposes, so im trying to find one for single player
Preferably for Xbox 360 or PS2

Far Cry 3 will get you involved
Btw if you havent watched the films you can try the harry potter series its bit childish but fun and pushes the story on
An action sort of shooting ie killing with mind blowing story line is the assassin's creed ... Plz play them they change life believe me.

Try Star Ocean The Last Hope, lots of multiple endings, real time battles, heavy cut scene story, I had a lot of fun with it

The Walking Dead.
It has a really good story and like Mass Effect your action reflect back in the game.
P.S. I mean The Walking Dead by Telltale not Survival Instinct.

Almost all of them are good. I didn't enjoy VIII that much or X-2 but all of the rest were pretty good.

uah...
this reminded me of the good ol days of suikoden.. ^_^
though my favarites as the 2nd and the 3rd... those were amazing... story and gameplay...
the 4th was the worst game of that series... in fact its the worst of all jrpg games... gameplay wise ^_^'''
back on topic...
games with good/awesome stories...
final fantasy... from 1 to 10 (forget the the X-2... that will just destroy the good story) (my favorites are 6,7 and 9... awesome stories...)
the rest do have good stories too even the mmo ones (11 and 14... though i haven't played 14 very for very long...) ^_^
secret of mana (snes... good story...)
secret of evermore (snes... good story but gameplay is a copy of secret of mana, although the setting is quite interesting)
illusion of time (snes... good story )
chrono trigger (awesome story you can travel throoughj time and you have a lot of thing you can do... also it does have multiple endings)
chrono cross (very good story a sequel to chrono trigger but you can't travel through time but between 2 dimensions...)
zelda ("link to the past" and "ocarina of time" very good stories... you also like the others)
star ocean... all parts do have very good stories
legend of dragoon (good story)
wild arms... (don't remember which parts but they all had good stories... the only one i didn't play was the last one i think...)
xenogears ("xenosaga" episode V... very awesome story... although... be warned... the start of the 2nd disc does have a lot of text/story ^_^)
xenosaga 1-3 (very good story)
Tales... just pick one or all of them... they all have good to awesome stories ^_^ (although my favorite is still tales of destiny and tales of eternia)
kingdomhearts (all of them... well maybe the handheld versions werent as good as the console version... mostly gameplay wise)
valkyrie profile (good story)
oh wow i nearly forgot about grandia...1 and 2 are great and have very good stories...
i could go on forever... if i remembered all the games i played ^_^'''
at least these are the games that burned them selves in to my brain... some because i grew up with and some because they were really good ^_^
oh yea... i only listed the console games...mostly jrpg
