Anyone having any luck getting any of these working for the US version (BLUS31006)? Since the Gald codes I've seen are the same for both the Eur and JP version, I hoped it would work in the US version, too, but all I get is a corrupted save trying to use it.

this is just a guess on my part but i think its cause they have not added the US save to BruteForce Save Data yet, i think you will need to wait till they do, again i don't know that for sure, i have only been using BSD for awhile, the reason i think this is when i opened my save in BSD it shows no key and says it undecryptable, which is opposite of my tales of graces f save which shows the key and says its decryptable, again im just guessing lol

Any time I recall doing it, I had to bruteforce it to get it to show as decryptable. Have you tried to brute force, it now shows decryptable to me, and I imagine it says that for you for ToGf since you've already brute forced it before.

The other problem is, when you decrypt and open the files, the SAVE file contains quite a few files in it, most with a .dat extension, but none of them seem seem to contain useful information, so maybe it's not brute forcing it correctly. However, codes existing for the JP and EU version, wouldn't it use the same encryption?

first you need to download and install bruteforce save data: http://ps3tools.aldostools.org/BruteforceSaveData.rar

Seph - Question about adding Items;

If you add every item, will it automatically pop Achievements for obtaining xx amount of Items? (Basically causing Trophies to unlock in the wrong order, because you can't have every item at the start normally).

Or does the game only register an Item after using it? (And would it instantly register 99 Items if you used 1 of a batch of 99 if that were the case?)

Also, does the same apply for Tales of Symphonia Chronicles? (Both games, ToS + DoTNW)

I have never cared about achievements or gamer scores, so i can't really say if the cheats unlock achievements/trophies.

Just tested Xillia myself, the codes work flawlessly. The 99 Items revert to 15 Max if this is a first playthrough and you haven't unlocked the "99 Max Item Capacity" in grade shop, but other than that it's great. It also doesn't pop any Achievements like Treasure Hunter ones, etc.

Just tested Xillia myself, the codes work flawlessly. The 99 Items revert to 15 Max if this is a first playthrough and you haven't unlocked the "99 Max Item Capacity" in grade shop, but other than that it's great. It also doesn't pop any Achievements like Treasure Hunter ones, etc.

I am glad that others have successfully gotten these to work. I am really struggling. Trying to use Bruteforce Save Data, whenever I try to apply cheats to my Tales of Xillia file, my save is corrupt when I try to load it. I have been trying to find answers through this forum and others, but I can't seem to find the information I need in order to fix this corruption, or prevent it during Cheat application. :\ Anyone have any suggestions?

PS -- I also have Tales of Graces f, and the method I am using works perfectly fine for it, and all my other games. Tales of Xillia seems to be a special case. Is there something I am not doing correctly for protected files, or something? I apologize that this question has come up frequently.. but I have browsed through every page of this thread and I can't seem to get it working.

I made sure to open games.conf with notepad, I edited the Tales of Xillia part to match what you provided, Sephiroth. After decrypting SAVE, entering the cheats listed for the US version ( BLUS31006 ), re-encrypting, then loading my save: It still comes back corrupted like so, "The data is corrupt. (800929207)" Total bummer! I really just want ONE code. So I'm slightly frustrated that this is taking so much effort, when every other game is as simple as that. Lol

Make sure you're not using the same savedata file. Once corrupted, stays corrupted.

i am also still getting data corrupted..

i checked my games.conf and edited it
1.decrypted
2.applied cheat
3.encrypted files
4.verified
then put on usb, copied to ps3, loaded file and 50% done loading it says data corrupted

if it helps when i select file before decrypting it only has param.sfo and save

This savedata corruption has nothing to do with the cheat codes.
Make sure you have configured everything properly such as -

Games.conf.
Global.conf.
titleid.txt

Download the attachment, and replace everything in

C:\Program Files (x86)\Bruteforce Save Data

or in the directory where you've installed brutoforce savedata manager.

Or you can do this -
