Despite all the petitions and begging, despite the official announcements that say the game is in development, Capcom STILL hasn't green-lit Megaman Legends 3 yet; they will be releasing a prototype version (read: demo) and will be basing whether they release the full game on how well the prototype version sells. Notice how I said "sells" in that last sentence. This is because they plan to charge for what is essentially a demo, as opposed to giving the demo away for free like most other companies do. This is Capcom's way of seeing how many people really want to buy the game; if it sells well then we get our sequel, if it doesn't then we don't.

This is a big douche move on CapCom's part. Seriously.

They have lost their sense in what made them great with games anymore. All they are doing is just stupid moves. What do they plan on living off their countless fighter sequels?

First that stupid DmC crap they are doing, then the stupid DLC with MvC3, and now this. Not releasing it unless the demo sells well? What? One of the most WANTED sequels of the series they had? Are they stupid? These stupid decisions are why several people have left CapCom. I understand they want to focus on a new market these days but selling-out and just playing it safe is the worst thing they can do. They should know Legends would sell quite a bit
