This is an experiment of some lecturers in Thomas More school. They claimed it won't be used in real exams.

A school in Belgium is using military-style drones as an experiment to stop students from cheating during exams.

The flying drones – used by the US army to spy behind enemy lines – are being used by Thomas More school in Mechelen, Belgium.

The miniature DJI Phantom aircraft, equipped with a GoPro video camera, requires one invigilator to control it while another checks the video monitor for any devious activity by students.

The school has posted a tongue-in-cheek video showing how it can sneakily peek over students' shoulders as they do their exams.

The technology has a way to go before being used for real, though as the drones only have a flight time of around 15 minutes - less than even the shortest exam.

There's also the problem of the wind pushed out by the drone's propellers - which could make a mess of exam papers.

That is a crazy method of stop cheating at school, but who know how much it would cost to implement it in case they decide to use in the future
