Behold, Road America has been added to Forza Motorsport 5 for zero money, and there are also five more cars to race. However, while everyone scores the track, you need to own the Car Pass to get behind the virtual wheel of the motors.

The five cars - which include 2006 #2 Audi Sport North America R8, 1995 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1, 1968 Ferrari 365 GTB/4, 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 and the 2009 Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG Black Series - have been added as an extra to the regular car pack updates. The Car Pass gives you six monthly packs of shiny cars, and runs through till May 2014.

If you're still ploughing through the career portion of Forza 5, you'll see that Road America has been added to the rotation. Take a peek at Rivals Modes, and the multiplayer lobbies, and you'll see it's been jammed in there, too. The update is roughly 3GB in size.

Microsoft has also revealed that Forza Motorsport 5 is the fastest-selling racing game in Xbox's history, eclipsing the likes of all Project Gotham Racings and the Forza Horizon spin-off. More than one-third of Xbox One owners worldwide bought the game, so considering that 3.9m consoles have been shipped, that's roughly 1.3m copies of Forza 5.

You can watch some cars go round the aforementioned track in the video below, and kudos to the developers for including sound effects so you don't need to make the 'vrooooom' noises yourself (though that shouldn't stop you).
