I am currently playing dawn of the new world so haven't tested the other version of tales of symphonia.
The decrypt key should work for all versions of tales of symphonia (unless the Title ID is missing)
If your Title ID isn't NPEB01388 then change it with your Title ID.

So I tried the hex editing, but I honestly don't know how to do it. I used Bruteforce to decrypt and used the same editor from that, but I didn't know which line to edit... I thought that 0x0000000C referred to the first line where 0C was, and the same for the 280 part, but I was wrong. I'm not sure how to read it or how to edit it.

I have the same Title ID.
Perhaps you are not properly decrypting/encrypting your save!
Make sure you have configured your global.conf properly.

Always click the verify PFD before decrypting and after encrypting. If it shows red then your save will not work.
Make always a backup before decrypting your save!!

How do you use the cheat codes for Tales of symphonia 1 ?. never done this kinda of thing with ps3 saves before

Don't know how i managed it cause i'm a total noob at hex editing but i managed to find where GRADE is located in the Savedata.bin file. Its at 00001D1E. its also calculated as one big number e.g 23.99 Grade is 2399 or 09 5F in hex

The cheat codes for Tales of symphonia chronicles [NPEB01389] are not mine nor taking credit for it.
All codes for Tales of symphonia chronicles [NPEB01389] has been tested and should work for the disc version of the game, can't say about the PSN version of the game tho.

There is no infinite HP/MP. All you can do is max everyone's HP, MP, LV and EXP.

Hey guys,
does anyone of you have the same issue after having applied the cheats, that the ps3 wont recognize the savegame as your own? I always update the account id but still, the ps3 tells me that it isn't my savegame and simply disables trophies. weird :/

Hey guys,
does anyone of you have the same issue after having applied the cheats, that the ps3 wont recognize the savegame as your own? I always update the account id but still, the ps3 tells me that it isn't my savegame and simply disables trophies. weird :/

This has nothing to do with cheats.
You have to update PFD with your own account ID. Your account ID can be found in multiman.
I guess you have unlocked the save to work on any PS3 account which is now giving you the message in game that you're using someone else's
savedata lol.

Okay solved it :D Do you know how to change the grade? From what i have read so far in this thread, i assume the use of a hexeditor is a must? If yes, how do i figure out the adress?

I realize im late on this but the titles arent working for me. I picked just Sheena and nothing new is added. Do I have to pick more then just one title at a time? Because so far clicking just one doesnt.

Are you talking about Tales of symphonia 1 or Tales of symphonia 2: dawn of the new world?

Tales of Symphonia 1!

Ive run through the game 4 times and using a Gamefaqs guide I cant seem to get Sheenas "treasure Hunter" title. I keep missing 1 chest. So I gave up and am hoping to use this quick code to get her title.

However when I chose the "cheats" title for Sheena it doesnt pop up. When I chose the titles for everyone else the characters get a few titles that arent theirs. For example Raine gets a few of Sheena's titles, Lloyd gets a few of Colettes etc.

I have the CE for ToS and I guess the region code is EU. And I have a NA PS3 but its not region locked so it shouldnt be a problem. I added the ToS info to the game.conf to but it was already there. I added it anyways though.

Just trying to give you as much info as possible! Thanks in advance.

I have the brute force save data. I followed the guy in video last night before coming here. I do the entire process and re download it to my PS3 but in game the titles dont take affect.

Hey,

i'm new here and i'm trying to activte the cheats to my Tales of Symphonia savegame.
First i did was decrypting my savefile. Then i've clicked on "Cheats" > "Apply Cheats" > "Edit Patch File" (The button on the left bottom)" and copied the cheats in there. > Clicked on "Privew Cheats" and activated all of them. After that I encrypted my savefile with activated cheats.
But when i try to load the Save ingame it keeps saying me that my save is damaged.

I know my english sucks but i tried my best to explain my problem. Please don't be mad at me =)

Hello everybody, i have searched far and wide across the net,to find a party modifier (thinking of something that would let me have both Zelos and Kratos the same time throughout the whole game) for symphonia 1, but to no luck,would anyone be willing to lend a hand? Greatly appreciate any help i will get!

I was bored and decided to update some of these codes. In particular the codes that had 5453 lines (write at xxxxxx). Converted them to proper codes and condensed them as well.

There is nothing to download.
The cheat codes you see on the first page, first post is for brutoforce savedata app and for Gamegenie.

Hey

Sry for the necromancy to this thread but maybe someone can help me :D

I used the complete code to modify the stats from Martha/Emil

Now this code killed almost all Titles for her and i didn´t made a backup

Does anybody have a save with all titles OR can tell me how to hex edit titles for this game?

Did you successfully resolve the issue with modifying the stats for Martha/Emil in Tales of Symphonia Chronicles, and have you considered any alternatives for recovering the lost titles?

Changing the stats it´s not a problem but i don´t have a clue about the titles. I tried to understand the the HEX EDIT for the WII Version but this doesn´bear any fruits as you cannot use them for the PS3.
