Xbox one help

Just bought a xbox one and I hooked my satellite cable to my xbox one, everything works fine until I try to change the channels using the kinect and the controller, it will not change the channels I click on a channel and it still stays on the same one . Does anyone have any suggestions please .

mine is set up the same i can only change the channels with this 14081
but it works fine with netflix an other apps
