Dark Souls 2 Mega Starter Save

The Save does not have to be resigned, Works with EU game too!

How do i make this save work?
Step 1: When you download the save you will get a file called Dk2 mega save V2.rar
Step 2: Extract this file and you will get a folder called Dk2 mega save V2
Step 3: Inside this folder you will see another folder called NPUB31358-GAME_000
Step 4: The folder called NPUB31358-GAME_000 is the folder you need to place in the SAVEDATA folder located in your usb
Step 5: The SAVEDATA folder can be found inside the PS3 folder and the PS3 folder should be in the root of your USB
Extra: If you do not have a PS3 folder in the root of your USB you will have to copy any save you have available on your ps3 to your USB
Extra: After doing this you will see the PS3 folder inside your USB

This save contains the following:


No bonfires unlocked
No item duplicates or 0 values
No King's ring
Removed Soul of a Giant (Because it caused the forgotten key to not drop)
Removed Dried finger
No Key items
No Soul memory
No item that has a possibility of breaking an achievement (Covenant rings, Boss Souls)
No unique one time items that usually you get from npcs (White soapstones, Dragon Eye, etc)
This save can be used offline and online with no problems
1 character, and 10 characters version available!
Max Souls
The save is at the very start before character creation
All upgrade stones x999 in your inventory and also x999 in your item box
All (Arrow, Bolts, Greatarrows) x999 in your inventory and 65,000 in your item box
All Armors, Armor sets upgraded to max (In item box)
Every single weapon in the game already upgraded to max, 2 copies of each
Every Shield in the game (already upgrade to max)
Every Bow/Greatbow in the game (already upgraded to max)
Every spell in the game except for Heal, Soul Arrow, Flash Sweat, and Dark Fog

Unzip the file in the Root(X:) > PS3 > SAVEDATA folder of your stick.

Np i just really wanted to help out the ps3 with a save that would try and prevent any achievements from being blocked, and make playing this game much more enjoyable. Hopefully it all works fine :D.

I have included another save on the first page that has everything the other one has but with the addition of having x10 of every spell (except the 4 mentioned so people can get achievements. So if your interested on that one, enjoy! :D

You could most likely create new chars in game, but I don't think i can add new characters to the save file by hex editing, as this save only has 1 character made on it. If its possible then i do not know how to do it sorry :(

To use the save all you have to do is:
-Unzip the downloaded file you will get a folder called Dk2 mega save inside this folder is the save folder that you need called NPUB31358-GAME_000

- Inside in the root directory of your USB, you will see the PS3 folder. Inside this PS3 folder you will find the SAVEDATA folder, place the NPUB31358-GAME_000 folder inside the SAVEDATA folder)

*In order to see the PS3 folder you must have used the usb on the ps3 before, if you have not done this, go into your ps3 and copy any save you have in there to your usb so it creates the PS3 folder.

- Then just plug it on your ps3 and copy the save over.


I cant copy dark souls 2 savegames to my flash usb drive.
when i select dark souls 2 and click copy its showing me only the psn option no usb flash.
ps3 see the flash usb but doesnt allow me to copy the savegames.
How i can add your savegame then???

Is this thread still taking requests?

If so, I would like to see a save that is just like the Kairas save, except:

- start with no branches of yore
- all gear in box starts NOT upgraded
- all gestures aquired
- if it is all possible, make it so the majula bon fire allows you to immediately go to NG+, and have it work every for every + (so you can just up to NG++++++ if you wanted)

Is that last request at all possible? If not, maybe add 10 branches of yore, then king ring, ashen mist heart, and dull ember that stays every NG.

I got banned for using a different mule, and I was wondering if you could create one for me.

-1 Bone of Order
-12 Estus Shards
-5 Sublime Bone Dust
-Removed all Seed of a Tree of Giants
-1 Key of the Embedded
-Removed all Awestones
-Removed Tokes of Spite
-Removed Tokens of Fidelity
-Removed Soul Vessels
-Nothing in the items section of the Item Box (Keep weapons and armour etc.)

I personally believe that they are detecting mules by checking whats in our character's inventories. With this in mind, I came up with the idea for this particular modded save file.

Thanks for doing the work I can't be bothered to do, even if you cant make this file.

Mules ruin the game, just use them for testing stuff imo. I invaded this one dude a few times straight and he kept spamming seed of a tree of giant, so dumb. Then this other time in BoB i fought someone who spammed great chaos fireball and he had no aura.....-_-

I have not tried it on online play yet but i think it works not sure yet. all you need to do is download it onto your USB(you need to already have game save data on there) then plug it into your ps3 and copy it on. but for gods sake Always eject your usb before pulling it out of your computer. I take no credit for this and the modded save was all done by Domthybomb.
