How to use:
(1) Extract the "profile.xml" fle from the Crysis2 gamesave.
(2) Open the "profile.xml" file in the editor.
(3) Make any changes to the values and then Save the file.
(4) Replace the "profile.xml" file in the Crysis2 gamesave.
(5) Rehash and Resign the Crysis2 gamesave.
*Note: This program decrypts and encrypts the "profile.xml" file.

Same here. It's unusual because there's always someone complaining about not being able to open this and that and this is the first time I've ever had this problem. It's confusing.

EDIT: Just downloaded the latest .NET framework and it's still not working. I double click to start it and it immediately says, "......has stopped working." Any ideas? Maybe there's something in my anti-virus or computer settings that's preventing it from running, i'm not sure.

I'm using Windows 7 64bit. When I try to open I just get "Crysis 2 - Save Editor has stopped working. Windows is checking for a solution to the problem." However, after it loads, it doesn't give any suggestions or solutions, it just closes. It's no big deal if I won't be able to use your tool, though I'd love to. I just wanted to know if there was anything I was doing wrong.

No, I don't edit saves. That's why I make the editors...

Yes. Look for:

-Profile
....Attr
........name
............MP/DogTagProgression/dtu_00_001/TimesCollected
........value
............"number collected here"

Each one is for a different dog tag. There are special and mystery ones as well. Just use "Tools > Find" to search for items/terms.

No you can not edit health.

If there are anymore questions concerning what can be edited in the file then open the file in the editor and look for yourself because I don't have the game and I don't know everything.

I code in a 32bit OS environment. Some tools may not work on 64bit. I have recently upgraded to the new Visual Studio so future releases may work on both environments.

Then use any text editor (i use and recommend notebook++)
Then re encrypt (-e parameter)
Then inject, rehash, play.

nope not working it says msvcr71.dll was not found re-installing the app may fix the problem

It does work for Xbox 360. It may not work on 64bit computers. And you must have .NET Framework 3.5 (or greater) installed.

has anyone got a save with all the attachments unlocked and max upgrade points aswell as everthing unlocked and ready to use in multiplayer just low level? i accidentaly deleated my save and don't wan't to go through the game again unlocking everything.
