Please Help. Game Save needed to get past a game glitch.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has created a save editor for Kingdoms of Amalur to get past a potential glitch or bug. I am currently playing the "An Old Friend" quest in which you have to locate Fomorous Hughes in the Saltwater Caverns. Well I've completed the cavern, but he's nowhere to be found. There's also a moment where you have to take a key from a corpse. At one point the corpse was actually standing!! I verified that it wasn't the PS3 or the disc. I even went as far a buying another disc. I really like this game, but I'm bummed that I can't complete a main quest and progress further into the game.

Notes
If the assassins do manage to kill Hugues in the game, he does not respawn. You will need to restart the game from scratch or reload an earlier save. So save before you enter this area!

Bugs

Hugues may not show up at all, and the quest marker will disappear after examining his assistant, resulting in an unfinishable game... (PS3)

Looks like you're screwed in terms of that Save. It has nothing to do with your PS3 or the disc, it's a gamebreaking thing. Follow their advice next time you play this game, and keep multiple Saves. I'd help you further if I could, but I don't own the game sadly. Maybe someone else here does. GameFaqs doesn't have any saves either. Checked there.
