Conan - hidden save for unlockable cheats?

Ok, when you beat Conan on each difficulty it unlocks certain cheats. I was hoping to edit the save to unlock them all, but there's no save after beating the game. You go back to the menu and the cheats are unlocked. The only save in the folder is the one prior to beating the game. Each save slot is a seperate file, but there's no general game data save. It doesn't load anything on startup, but the cheats are still unlocked. How can this be? This is the first thing I've found to mess with that doesn't have a mystery checksum, and I manage to find another mystery to screw with me. I want that Invulnerability cheat. lol

Wow. I did it. Don't ask me to replicate it, but I did it. I had my profile on 2 boxes and had played Conan on both, but I haven't signed the other box on since I beat the game last night to unlock 2 of the cheats. I found the right GPD and extracted from each. I compared them in Hex Workshop and a bunch of things had changed, but I spotted a byte that was 2 bits active. I'm like "why not?" I changed it to FF and BOOM cheats unlocked. :)

edit: Did the same for the japan version. Yes, I own both. Anyway, the section of data doesn't seem to be there at all until you finish the game once. I always do it on Normal to unlock the 2 cheats that gives you, but I bet the bytes in this area would end up looking similar enough to find it had I run through on easy. I hate this dynamic stuff, since it's hard to share, but at least I found it.
