Reaper of Souls - Ultimate Evil Edition to make landfall on Xbox 360 too
Blizzard has confirmed that Diablo 3 will see daylight on Xbox One. The Reaper of Souls - Ultimate Evil Edition will release for both the new Xbox and the Xbox 360 on 19th August, combining all content from the original Xbox 360 version with a new class, new areas and new challenges, for "countless hours of gameplay".

The new class is the Crusader, who joins the Barbarian, Demon Hunter, Monk, Witch Doctor and Wizard. "Clad head to toe in fortified armor, the Crusader is an unstoppable force of righteous destruction who channels the power of divine wrath to visit retribution upon his demonic quarry," notes the release. If you already own the Xbox 360 version, you can also transfer your character to the Xbox One version.14934
Reaper of Souls extends the original's campaign by one act, allowing players to "embark on a dark and perilous journey through terrifying landscapes; explore the legendary city of Westmarch; and slay countless minions, each hell-bent on bringing the players' heroic quest to a grisly end. The adventure culminates in a climactic confrontation with Malthael, the Angel of Death, whose twisted designs spell ruin for the innocent people of Sanctuary." Sounds like one hell of a guy.

Four-player local and online co-op returns, and there's a new Apprentice mode, which boosts low-level players' power while adventuring with high-level friends. Players also get to share treasures - including "mysterious" Player Gifts - with Xbox Live friends via in-game mail. All that's in addition to an overhauled loot system, an expanded Paragon progression system for max-level characters, and a number of smaller additions and improvements, which are broken down below:

Adventure Mode: A new game mode that gives players the freedom to go anywhere and slay anything
Bounties: Randomised objectives that reward players in new ways for exploring Sanctuary
Nephalem Rifts: Fully randomised dungeons offering endless replayability and heaps of loot
Level Cap to 70: Formidable new spells and abilities that take players to new heights of power
The Mystic: A powerful new artisan who provides heroes with loot-customisation options

"The Ultimate Evil Edition brings Reaper of Souls to console gamers for the first time, and wraps all of the content, features, and updates we've released for Diablo III into one epic package," observed Mike Morhaime, CEO and co-founder of Blizzard Entertainment, in the release. "Whether you're a veteran of the crusade against the forces of evil on PC or are just stepping foot into Sanctuary for the first time, there's never been a better time to experience Diablo III from the comfort of your couch."

The goodly Paul Taylor of OXM Australia has furnished us with boxshots. What do you reckon? Worth paying for twice?

Awesome to hear, but would be nice if they just release as an add on, but will buy if that is not an option.
