How to use:

1) Grab AUTOSAVE from your device (\Content\*ProfileID*\4541092A\00000001\)
2) Open save (do not extract beforehand) and edit to your liking
3) Save (CRC and STFS security will be repaired automatically)
4) Transfer save back to your device and load


Q: In the checkpoint load menu, the edits I've done do not show in the summary window

A: The displayed values in the checkpoint load menu are stored differently in the data. Once in-game, changes can be seen


Q: I edited my BLUE GEMS but the changes aren't applied in-game

A: Although blue gems CAN be edited, the game looks to see if you've beaten the appropriate bosses to earn those gems. I haven't found how this is flagged in the save data and since the game is pretty simple as it is, it's unlikely I'll look further into this. Suck it up


Q: I edited my ammo but it's a lower amount in-game

A: Editing ammo works but for some reason the game recounts the ammo at a fairly slow rate. Have patience, it'll get up there eventually


Q: Do I need to re-hash/re-sign afterward?

A: No.

Just have to re-edit every now and then, because at max amounts, some things get reset, like white gems, but no problem at all.

Watch out with the red gems, when you get 2 blue gems and you upgrade everything to max, you will unlock the collect all red gems achievement will your at chapter 2-4/3-1.

Good work, this savegame editor is probably the closest thing to a new game+ mode this game will ever get, the one thing this game was lacking.
Too bad the weapon upgrades are tied to bosses though, but starting out with all 80 red gems is nice.

The only real problem with this editor is that it only works for the first save slot.

My ammo always comes out higher than the value I enter. The value you used is just reserve ammo, which gets added to how many you currently have loaded, so that's why it appears lower in the editor.

If you ask me, it plays like Resident Evil 5 while it has this mixed Story that's similar to Devil May Cry/Dantes Inferno and the Soundtrack sounds alot like Silent Hill.

Is there anyway to edit the save slots 2 and 3? The program seems to edit the 1st slot just fine so I was just wondering if there was anyway I can do it myself. I've extracted the AUTOSAVE1.sav (slot 2) but any editing of the file will corrupt the save, all help appreciated!

This tool works great...I did start a new game and i am not smart enough to figure out how to med it with this tool. When i open atuosave it defaults to the 1st saved game. I have 2 game saves and want to mod the 2nd one...can u guys tell me how to do that? using Horizon right now!
