Hypothetical question

Lets say that my mate found a HTC Desire phone on his local golf course and lets say said phone is blocked (reported lost / stolen). Now I know that it cant be unblocked again (without trying to change the IMEI number which looks a complete pain in the ass) but it will function perfectly normal outside of the UK as the block only applies to this country.

Lets say (hypothetically of course) he wanted to sell this not quite legitimate phone oversea's, what would be the best way to go about it? I would assume flogging it on Ebay or Amazon etc would be a big no no.

Any idea's?

Try sell it with no paper trail which will be hard. Probably eBay with a new account and new details. Get the money the transfer it to your main account. *Hypothetically
