It doesn't work right... throw it in the trash.

It's easy to hex edit, give it a try.

Your gamesave wouldn't help any, the problem is that the save-data is stored dynamically (means data moves each time it's written). I've tried but I haven't figure out how the structure works so I'm not able to parse it. I thought I had found a pointer to the data but apparently it changes as well...

Hexing is easy, just search for your current value and replace it.

For each character level:
-levels are represented by a xp amount (http://www.capcom-unity.com/bthr_zero_x/go/thread/view/92009/25180997/Lost_Planet_2_Career_Level_Experience_List?post_id =454210905#454210905), search for the current XP and replace it.
-if you go over a level then you won't get it's achievement, so keep that in mind.
-if you search for the 1st character XP, then the others are directly after it and in the same order as on-screen. (they are 4 bytes each, int32)

I think I said that, just in different words:

For each character level:
-levels are represented by a xp amount (http://www.capcom-unity.com/bthr_zero_x/go/thread/view/92009/25180997/Lost_Planet_2_Career_Level_Experience_List?post_id =454210905#454210905), search for the current XP and replace it.
