Is summer kicking anybody else's ass, too? The hottest day I've had is 109°F (42.7°C). Let it begin.

Here in the netherlands the hottest tempurature was 35+ , but august is still to come

Terrible week that was. I had to work outside all day during those days :(

whoops dont know what i was thinking changed my post the hottest it got here was 110°F(43.33°C) dont know where i got 114 from, also i live in Kansas, yeah it sucked when it got that hot but im kinda use to it here, we couldnt even shoot fireworks on july 4 because it was so hot and dry here :-f

Here I think the highest was 116°F in Arizona.

Thank god I'm in the UK, I would die in the heats you guys are reporting. Think the hottest here has been in the low 30's which is plenty hot enough for me!

42~45C in countries like Spain / Turkey, etc are normal though. It isn't disgusting humid weather there. (I went on vacation for 2 weeks there when it was like 42C and it didn't bother me as much as 30C in The Netherlands would).

When you have 28+ in The Netherlands it already feels as if it's like 40C. Imagine when it reaches 35+.
