Ok I am moving my installation of Dead Island to my PC
I use GOD2ISO to make it an ISO
Then the the extracted ISO does not look the the jtag rip passed around the files are different. Is their a way around this?

So that will extract the ISO to have the same jtag files for modding where as WX360 was putting out different files?

It still did not extract into the JTAG rip everyone has been using to the mod the game. The files are different and in a different structure.

ull get 3 files in the dir and a folder called DI
data0.pak is in DI folder
to recap
convert the god to iso using god2iso
then xtract the files from iso with xbo360 iso extract
ftp over while moddin what u want on data0.pak
njoy

LOL, your missing the whole point where it is not set up like that after the extract, the files are not allocated the same and they are not the same therfore their is no actuale data0.pak files

Then the di folder just contains the data folder which contents is next picture

Apparently a lot of people were having this issue and having to download the already extracted ISO version.

thats right how it should look
in DI folder ull find data0.pak
u have to open data0.pak in 7zip if u wanna mod it , edit each file u want from 7zip then replace data0.pak with the one containing ur modded files ;)
(im gueesin u expected to see data0.pak`s structure here....)

No....and No.
Their is no data0.pak. Go look at a extracted iso with a data0.pak and compare to my pictures they are DIFFERENT. I hjave already succesfully modded a different version of this

09-06-2011, 03:32 PM
Ok I am about done with this......I said I have already modded it via a different jtag extract, so I know the file structure that i need
THE POINT OF THIS IS, I need MY GOD, to turn into the correct file structure

lol
thats even simpler
replace whatever file u want on iso (data0.pak) with CON manager v2.2
(dont use le flufiesas it doesnt like the replace)
use iso2god if u need it god , even builds a iso for ya

It has to be God2iso version 1.0.4 if you want to create the iso the right way for extract after. If your using an earlier version then the iso wont be getting created the right way. Also, make sure you select the right file from the Jtag rip for converting the game (its the loose one outside of the 2 folders if I remember rightly)

Strange, that's what I did and it worked perfectly. The only other thing I could suggest is make sure that the 'fix broken header' box is ticked although I don't know if it will make a difference.

I would perhaps try it with a fresh copy of the game, maybe when you transferred it back from the 360 one of the files went missing or got corrupted or something. Other than that I'm stumped dude.

Is this problem because of the new 360 game format XGD3? I know this is one of those games.
