Facebook has 'more gamers than the big 3 combined'

Ethan Beard, Facebook’s director of partnerships, told attendees at Facebook’s F8 conference that the company has more gamers than Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony combined. Ethan believes that the secret behind Facebook’s success is that their gaming apps have been built around people, rather than graphics or narrative.

Time for Nintendo , Microsoft and Sony to take some actions

Sadly, I must admit I am one of those FB gamers...Its not so much FB's games made around people, rather its Zynga making games that people like that are hosted on Facebook. Zynga makes billions of dollars on gaming by more or less forcing gamers to pay for an advantage on their games. For instance, I play Cityville (way too much) and like how the challenges are neverending!
