So first before anyone asks; I didn't change any MP values nor will I because I don't care. If you want MP hax then do them yourself.

Second, I'm not going to explain how to extract and inject the files from/to an ISO. Either find some tuts or figure it out and those with JTAG's shouldn't need to worry about ISO's

1) Grab bigfile0.viv from which ever disc you want modded (maing sure the bigfile0.viv you're using is the retail data (not modded))

2) Download the corresponding PPF patch for the bigfile0.viv you want modded

3) Download and open PPF-O-Matic. Click the diskette icon to the right of the ISO File textbox and browse for your untouched bigfile0.viv

4) Click the diskette icon to the right of the Patch textbox and browse for the corresponding PPF file

5) Click Apply and you're done.

Transfer the patched bigfile0.viv file(s) back to your HDD (JTAG users) or replace bigfile0.viv in ISO with the patched file and burn

Well first I tried just hexing the shit I wanted but when I clicked save Hex Workshop wouldn't write the file back correctly.. so I had to go through and scout the offsets I wanted to hax, write them down in notepad along with which value I wanted to write to each offset and then wrote a program to parse my text file and write the changes directly. Then pulled out PPF Studio and let that shit generate a patch for 20 mins.. I was far from lazy

My manually scouted and typed list of shit:

Yea I was having the same problems with Hex Workshop so I tried HxD and it worked like a charm. Just in case anyone else is having problems use HxD.

edit...got this off xbox360iso,you can use this to put the big files together so you dont have to switch disk.

1.For all JTAGgers, this is what I did and it should work. (Won't know until I've played more of the game)
2.
3.(You will need just over 25GB of free space on your PC to perform this operation. Or 12.5GB if you do 1 disc at a time)
4.
5.1) Using xbox backup creator 2.9, extract files from cpx-ds2a.iso to a folder "Dead Space 2"
6.
7.2) Delete $SystemUpdate folder
8.
9.3) Rename bigfile0.viv to bigfile0_0.viv and bigfile1.viv to bigfile1_0.viv
10.
11.4) Extract files from cpx-ds2b.iso (you only need bigfile0.viv and bigfile1.viv ) to "Dead Space 2"
12.
13.5) Rename bigfile0.viv to bigfile0_1.viv and bigfile1.viv to bigfile1_1.viv
14.
15.Then use binary copy in command prompt (in linux dd should do the trick) to combine bigfiles from dvd1 and dvd2 to one bigfile:
16.
17.6) Open command prompt and navigate to the to "Dead Space 2" folder. (hold shift > right click > open command window here)
18.
19.7) Command: copy /b bigfile0_0.viv + bigfile0_1.viv bigfile0.viv /b
20.
21.8) Wait while file is created.
22.
23.9) Command: copy /b bigfile1_0.viv + bigfile1_1.viv bigfile1.viv /b
24.
25.10) Wait while file is created.
26.
27.11) Delete bigfile0_0.viv, bigfile0_1.viv, bigfile1_0.viv and bigfile1_1.viv
28.
29.12) Upload "Dead Space 2" to your JTAG
30.
31.13) For inturnal HDD users, create a QuickBoot file, so you can launch the game from the dash
32.http://stainedfuture.wordpress.com/2010/08/21/creating-a-quickboot-shortcut/
33.
34.If you want to store it with your other GoD's, place the files from "Dead Space 2" into 454108df\00007000
35.
36.So the final folder structure on your JTAG will be...
37.
38./Hdd1/Content/0000000000000000/454108df/00007000/bigfile0.viv, bigfile1.viv, blah blah blah
39.
40.14) Enjoy!
41.
42.
43.Thanks to DarkNRG @ TL for most of the info

No no everything is good just the Fecked Up the bigfile0 from both disc with backing up the original.

I used a recovery tool to recover a deleted ISO so now I have the original ty.
