View Full Version : How to mod Infinite Ammo and Weapons on Saints Row: The Third in hex editor

Here is how to change Weapons and how get Infinite Ammo for Saints Row: The Third

If you make a editor or post this then please give credit! Research done by: XB36Hazard



Note: Theses offsets are after all the guns were unlocked legit. Offset may vary in different saves, this is because if you have a grenades and a Electric Grenades and no Molotoves and no Flashbangs then the Electric Grenades will be in the Molotoves offset. This is the same for all weapons.

1. Extract your game.dat from your save(CON File)
2. Open your game.dat in a Hex Editor
3. Go to offset...
Melee = 4A81
Pistol = 4A9D
SMG = 4AB9
Shotgun = 4AD5
Rifle = 4AF1
Explosive = 4B0D
Special = 4B29
Thrown Top = 4B45
Thrown Right = 4B61
Thrown Bottom = 4B7D
Thrown Left = 4B99

4. Change value to 01 for Infinite Ammo and 00 for no Infinite Ammo
5. Save
6. Fix Checksum using fairchild Saints Row 3 Resigner Download Here (http://www.360haven.com/forums/showthread.php?7715-Saints-Row-3-Resigner)
7. Replace game.dat in your save(CON File) and Rehash & Resign.

For modding Weapons is the same steps as Infinite Ammo but steps 3 & 4 are different.

3. Go to offset...
...Weapons Offsets...
Melee = 4A68
Pistol = 4A84
SMG = 4AA0
Shotgun = 4ABC
Rifle = 4AD8
Explosive = 4AF4
Special = 4B10
Thrown Top = 4B2C
Thrown Right = 4B48
Thrown Bottom =4B64
Thrown Left = 4B80

4. Change Values...
...Weapon Values...

...Melee...
Apoca-Fist = CBB32BBB
Woodsman = 8E7E8459
No Cturne = ACD228EA
Baseball Bat = 31F11B9C
Stun Gun = 61A134A8
The Penetrator = F9890F00

...Pistols...
45 Shepherd = E89FF93D
KA-1 Kobra = DCF52EE9

...SMGS...
TEK Z-10 = B20742BC
D4th Blossom = 35B6FFCC
Cyber Blaster = 634F1478

...Shotguns...
Grave Digger = 24FE9255

Some weapon values are in different slots like everything from explosives and below.Does it matter or can it be ignored?

Edit:

the last two slots are not working for me when i edit them.There showing as empty and the rifle slot is greyed out with ammo in the negatives.

did u use fair child resigner then a rehash resign tool?
